I found my way into real estate after working as a transaction coordinator in Hawaii, but the real turning point came when my family PCS’d to Scott AFB and we bought our first home here. The experience wasn’t necessarily stressful or confusing, but it lacked the clear and consistent communication that every buyer deserves. I walked away knowing the process could be so much smoother with the right guidance. That’s when I decided I wanted to be the kind of agent who brings clarity, education, and steady support to families navigating one of the biggest decisions of their lives.

 

To me, a home is far more than four walls and a mortgage payment. It’s a safe haven. It’s the place where memories take root, where you bring home your first child or finally get the dog your rental never allowed. It’s where you exhale, grow, and feel most like yourself. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, so being near St. Louis gives me that perfect mix, close enough to enjoy the city’s energy, its zoo, sports, and incredible food, but far enough away to avoid the daily hustle. Strengthening the community where my clients, and my own family, live has always been important to me. Early in my career, a fellow agent on my team shared how he made donations to causes his clients cared about at closing, and I immediately knew it was something I wanted to be part of. Giving back in my clients’ honor felt meaningful, personal, and deeply connected to the heart of why I serve.

 

With each closing, I donate a portion of my commission to a nonprofit chosen by my client, honoring the causes closest to their hearts. It has become one of my favorite parts of the entire process. I’ve learned so much about the incredible organizations that matter to people, and it’s a special reminder that every home has a story and every family has values that shape their journey.
